QCA Week 2022

QCA Week returns this year, from 2nd to 8th October 2022.

We begin on Sunday 2nd October with a Church Service at St. Jude's Anglican Church, St. George, starting at 9:15 a.m.

The Church Service will followed by a Luncheon at The Radisson Aquatica Resort, Aquatic Gap, St. Michael which will start at 12:30 p.m. Registration for the Luncheon is now closed but payments can be made to any member of the Executive, the office of the School or to the Hon. Treasurer at the event.

Joint Assembly with QC will be on Monday 3rd October starting at 8:30 a.m.. The featured speaker is Mr. Kyle Smith. After the Joint Assembly, we will plant some new trees around the School grounds. Alumni are encouraged to attend the Joint Assembly and Tree Planting.

We will be paying visits to shut-in and elderly alumni on Wednesday 5th October. Contact the Executive Committee at qcanews@gmail.com for more information on this activity.

The annual Elsie Payne Memorial Lecture will be held on Wednesday 5th October at 7:00 p.m. with the featured speaker being Ms. Celeste Foster, who will speak about entrepreneurship in Barbados. The lecture will be virtual, via the Zoom platform and streamed live to our Facebook page.

Friday 7th October is "I Love QC!" Day. Wear your school colours proudly on Friday- tie, crest, epaulettes, school pin. You can even wear your old uniform (can it fit??)! On Friday 7th October we are liming together at The Penthouse at Limegrove, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, come hang out, buy your own drinks or buy a round for all your friends. A canapes menu is available.

 

We end the week on Saturday 8th October with a Games Night at Nala Aria in Worthing, Ch.Ch. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends... whenever we're ready to go home. You can bring some of your own games to add to the fun. There will be Karaoke!
