Managing Director of MGrafix, Samuel Gittens, was the guest speaker at the Joint Assembly which took place at the School Hall on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Sam was in the first cohort of 
boys to join the student body in 1981. He and seven of his classmates formed MGrafix 30 years ago. It’s still going strong, and a number of other business have been formed as well. He spoke to the student body and alumni who were there for the special event on the topic of Entrepreneurship.
Governor General, Dame Sandra Mason, was among the alumni who participated, and she also took part in the tree-planting ceremony which immediately followed the Joint Assembly.
Patron of the Give Back QC 
Charity, Dame Billie Miller, was another distinguished alumna who also took part in the tree planting, as did QCA President, Michelle Daniel, and QC Principal, Dr. David Browne.
Other alumni present included Miss Universe Barbados, Meagan Theobalds, and first runner-up, Shari Samuel.
